This is a consultative retail role where you'll help customers confidently purchase high-value products, manage enquiries, and convert opportunities into results. About the role This is a front-of-house Showroom Consultant position with strong earning potential through commission. You will work with both walk-in customers and trade clients, supported by structured training and ongoing coaching. Prior experience does not need to be like-for-like - we are open to strong retail, hospitality, or customer service backgrounds with the right attitude and sales drive. Key responsibilities Drive sales through excellent customer engagement and confident product recommendations Convert walk-in enquiries into high-value sales Build repeat business through relationships with builders, trades and local clients Manage customer enquiries in person, over the phone and via email Prepare quotes, follow up leads and close sales Maintain showroom presentation and product standards Prospecting is minimal initially and increases over time Skills & experience Background in retail, hospitality or customer service (sales exposure highly regarded) Confident communicator with a friendly, professional approach Strong ability to build rapport and guide customers to decisions Motivated by targets, results and commission Reliable, mature-minded and consistent in your work ethic Interior design students or graduates welcome!
