At Frankston Hospital, our Cleaning Supervisors are the quiet champions behind a safe, welcoming, and high-performing hospital environment. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee daily cleaning operations, lead a dedicated team, and ensure the highest standards of hygiene, infection control, and customer service are consistently met. THE POSITION: Supervising and coordinating daily cleaning operations across the hospital. Conducting inspections and implementing detailed cleaning schedules and checklists. Enforcing infection prevention and control procedures, including high-risk and biohazard areas. Managing staff rosters, performance, onboarding, and ongoing training. Overseeing deep cleaning programs and post-discharge room sanitation. Managing cleaning equipment, chemicals, inventory, and procurement of supplies. Maintaining accurate documentation, reporting, and participation in performance meetings. THE PERSON You are a confident and capable leader with a sharp eye for detail and a strong understanding of healthcare cleaning standards. You thrive in fast-paced environments, lead by example, and take pride in creating safe, spotless spaces for others. Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory role - MUST be within a hospital. Strong knowledge of infection prevention, control protocols, and hospital hygiene standards. Proven experience leading, mentoring, and training cleaning teams. Solid understanding of workplace health and safety requirements. A commitment to safety leadership and HSEQ principles. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
