Darling Downs Radiology is a fully comprehensive practice providing MRI, Nuclear Medicine, CT, XRAY and Ultrasound located centrally in the heart of Toowoomba, 1 hour west of Brisbane. ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a 2IC Radiology Receptionist to join our Darling Downs Radiology administration team. As a 2IC, you will work closely with the Clerical In Charge (CIC) to ensure that the reception and administration team provides a superior service to deliver excellence in diagnostics to our patients and referring doctors. Your role will include: Undertaking patient bookings, arrivals and payments Assisting in managing site clerical team in relation to rostered hours and site duties Ensure practice and clerical appearance standards are maintained Supporting Radiologists with any requests Supporting technical staff with regards to services Billing a patient prior to departure and entering patient services to ensure revenue cycle is met Perform end of day procedures regarding Medicare and DVA claims Continuous training and development of site clerical teams Other duties as directed by the Administration Services Manager or RIC FOR YOU Work life balance – Full time hours over a 9-day fortnight Stable and innovative culture Uniform provided and parking close by Staff recognition programs and awards Employee bonus referral programs Discounted medical imaging for you and your family Friendly team, with community spirit Supportive management that will want you to succeed ABOUT YOU A background in medical, ideally in Radiology, Medical or associated Health care industry Leadership abilities to support the team and the practice A “can do” attitude that builds rapport with patients, staff and professional easily Demonstrated “patients first” approach to service provision Experience with booking programs - medical programs ideally Karisma An understanding of medical terminology and Medicare billing This full-time position will be working a 9-day fortnight (An RDO every second week!) Working hours between 8am to 5.30pm - Monday to Friday (no weekends). Remuneration set at competitive rates within the medical industry.
