Description Community Liaison Officer – Employment Services MADEC Australia is looking for a driven, community-minded Community Liaison Officer (CLO) to build strong local partnerships in the Wimmera-Mallee region and create real opportunities for participants. The role This is a community-facing role focused on building and activating relationships with employers, community organisations, service providers and local stakeholders. You’ll work as part of the Employment Services Activation Team alongside Activity Coordinators, Workforce Partners, Job Coaches and Site Teams to build opportunity pipelines and keep MADEC visible and connected in the communities we serve. You will: Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, industry and community organisations Identify opportunities for activities, work experience, volunteering and employment pathways Represent MADEC at community forums, events and networks Develop referral pathways with local services and providers Work with Activity Coordinators to source venues, facilitators and community-based activities Support Job Coaches and Workforce Partners with employer and community connections Help drive a high-activity, community-based service delivery model Maintain accurate records of engagement, partnerships and opportunities Provide regular updates and reporting to regional and site leadership Ensure activities and partnerships align with contractual and compliance requirements About you Essential: Experience in community engagement, employer engagement or partnership development Strong relationship-building and communication skills Ability to work autonomously across multiple locations Current driver’s licence Desirable: Experience in Employment Services, workforce or community services Understanding of Workforce Australia or similar programs Knowledge of local labour markets and community networks Who we are MADEC is a proud not-for-profit with over 50 years’ experience supporting people and communities experiencing disadvantage.
