Details of the role : The role of a Volunteer Workshop Assistant is to assist in the preparation and set up of wheelchairs and other equipment. Each of our clients have individual ergonomic requirements, you will be working closely with our workshop staff to modify and tailor mobility devices for our clients. This role will suit people who are experienced in and are comfortable using power tools. We are looking for Engineers (or Engineering students), trades people, or those with experience modifying equipment.
