Employment Type: Full-time, ongoing Salary: AUD 76,515 per annum superannuation L B Constructions Australia Pty Ltd, located in Acacia Gardens, NSW, is seeking a qualified and experienced Bricklayer to support its growing construction operations across residential and commercial projects in New South Wales. This is a genuine full-time position requiring a skilled tradesperson capable of performing a wide range of bricklaying and masonry duties in accordance with Australian standards. Duties and Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties: Laying bricks, blocks, and other materials to construct or repair walls, foundations, and other structures Reading and interpreting construction blueprints and drawings Ensuring projects are completed accurately and on time Analysing and interpreting building plans. Interpreting work orders and determining the materials required. Cutting, repairing bricks, cement blocks, paving, stone, etc Arranging bricks or blocks in a precise manner to construct walls, floor and other structures Laying bricks, cement blocks, paving, stone Preparing and spreading mortar to bond bricks and stones Calculating angles and determining the vertical and horizontal alignment of courses. Setting out of brick and block work to a professional quality in a timely and efficient manner Using equipment and tools effectively to perform basic construction tasks. Adhering by safety regulations and industry standards Working as part of a team to complete projects Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work site Collaborating with other trades and team members Complying with safety regulations and company policies Skills, Qualifications, and Experience At least one year of proven experience as a Bricklayer in the construction industry Relevant trade qualification (Certificate III in Bricklaying/Block laying or equivalent) Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety practices Application Process Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
