With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hourâs drive from the CBD (still within the bounds of Myki and ride-sharing), Melbourneâs North is fast becoming the place to be.   Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Grade 1 or 2 Occupational Therapist to join the Acute team.  Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourneâs rapidly growing outer north.  Services are provided through our six main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.  The OT department at Northern Health prides itself on being inclusive, supportive and committed to evidence-based practice. We are a team of OT's who are driven by positive patient outcomes and team work.  About the Role: An opportunity for a Grade 1or 2 Occupational Therapist has become available to join our team at Northern Health, working in a fast-paced acute hospital setting that provides a high-level clinical service to a variety of acute inpatients.  This role predominately works on the acute general medical wards.  You will work collaboratively with the wider multi-disciplinary team to facilitate dynamic discharge plans that are patient centred care and support access and flow throughout the health service.  The role will work will work closely with the wider OT department to drive service development and ensuring a focus on innovations.  This position is ongoing full time based at the Epping Campus with monthly Accrued Day Off.   To be successful in this role you will have: Demonstrated clinical experience within an inpatient setting Proven ability to work autonomously and excel within a multidisciplinary team Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills Enjoy a face paced environment A commitment to lifelong learning  Next Steps  . . .
