Company vehicle provided Work based at Botanic Gardens Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens is required About the Role As a Head Gardener, you'll be responsible for ensuring our client's standards of garden maintenance are met and exceeded. We are seeking a skilled, experienced, and motivated Head Gardener to work at Melbourne's Botanical Gardens. Responsibilities Follow schedules and prioritise tasks to ensure timely completion of garden maintenance activities, including planting, hedging, weeding, pruning and fertilising. Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to the team to enhance their horticultural skills and safety practices. Regularly inspect garden areas to assess their condition, identify improvements needed, and implement corrective actions. Interact with clients to understand their preferences, address concerns, and provide updates on maintenance activities. About You MUST have a Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain National Police Check, or willingness to obtain White Card Valid Drivers' license (Manual) Team player with excellent communication skills Benefits Receive Above Award rates for your expertise.
