The Role: Manage and take ownership of a portfolio of business and individual clients Act as the primary point of contact for client communication and advisory needs Deliver end-to-end tax compliance for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns Review client structures and support the preparation of tax planning and advisory advice Monitor client performance, including KPI reporting and business insights Identify opportunities to add value and support client growth and strategic outcomes Liaise directly with clients to build strong, trusted relationships Work closely with Principals and Managers on complex advisory matters Support the mentoring and development of junior staff where required About You: 3–6 years’ experience in Australian public practice accounting Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce or similar CA or CPA qualified or working towards completion Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting standards Proven experience managing a client portfolio or acting in a client-facing capacity Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management ability Commercial mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Experience with Handisoft, MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero and Microsoft Office advantageous What’s On Offer: Full ownership of a diverse and growing client portfolio Strong client-facing advisory exposure across a range of industries Supportive leadership from experienced Principals and Managers Career development and progression within a growing firm Collaborative and professional team culture Ongoing technical training and professional development Long-term stability within a reputable Gold Coast advisory firm Opportunity to influence client outcomes and add real commercial value This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Client Manager looking to step into a more autonomous, advisory-focused role within a respected and growing professional services firm.
