A large, multi-entity organisation operating nationally and internationally is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join the team. This is a purpose-driven business with a strong financial control environment and a collaborative team culture. Located Sydney CBD with a hybrid onsite/WFH model of work and paying $90,000 - $95,000 super. The role This is a hands-on Accounts Receivable Supervisor role with a strong accounting overlay. You’ll lead a small AR team while remaining deeply involved in operational delivery, owning receipting, banking, reconciliations, and the interface between Accounts Receivable and the General Ledger across multiple business units. The position plays a key role in month-end close and balance sheet integrity, ensuring AR, cash, and clearing accounts are accurate, reconciled, and compliant with internal controls. This is very much an “in the trenches” role suited to someone who enjoys operational accounting alongside people leadership. Key responsibilities Lead and support a small AR team Own end-to-end AR processes across multiple entities Daily receipting and cash allocations Bank, cash clearing, and suspense account reconciliations Monthly AR and bank balance sheet reconciliations Prepare and post AR-related journals and ensure correct cut-off Investigate GL variances and resolve reconciling items Support month-end close and reporting timelines Maintain balance sheet integrity across AR and cash accounts Handle bank queries and account administration Partner closely with Finance and operational stakeholders Use Excel to support reconciliations, reporting, and financial controls About You Strong end-to-end Accounts Receivable experience with an accounting mindset Solid exposure to General Ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close Experience supervising or mentoring others Comfortable owning outcomes and working autonomously Practical, organised, delivery-focused approach Strong Excel capability Clear communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills Role details Permanent full-time position CBD fringe location, 2 days working from home Hands-on leadership role with strong accounting exposure Apply via the link below or send your resume directly to Joshua Boyd at jboyd@fourquarters.com.au
