The Role: As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of new and existing customers across the Toowoomba region. You’ll work closely with customers across construction, manufacturing and industrial sites, providing technical advice, promoting welding and industrial solutions, and delivering exceptional service. This is a hands-on, field-based role where success comes from strong relationships, commercial awareness, and a proactive approach to identifying growth opportunities — all while operating safely and in line with Coregas’ quality and compliance standards. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and grow a portfolio of new and existing TWS customers within the assigned territory Conduct regular on‑site customer visits across construction, manufacturing and industrial environments Achieve agreed sales, revenue and margin targets Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive territory and call planning Provide technical advice and demonstrate welding and related products and solutions Maintain pricing discipline to optimise profitability and customer value Build strong, long‑term customer relationships through responsive service and follow‑up Collaborate with branch, service and distribution teams to ensure high service standards Monitor customer activity, market trends and competitor movements Resolve customer enquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally Prepare and submit weekly call reports and required sales documentation Contribute to sales meetings, branch initiatives and continuous improvement activities Operate in line with Coregas’ Zero Harm safety culture and HSE requirements Comply with Coregas quality, compliance and reporting standards Participate in required training, development and safety meetings About You: You’re a commercially minded sales professional with a technical aptitude and a strong customer focus. You enjoy being out in the field, building relationships, and delivering solutions that genuinely add value. You will bring: Proven sales experience, ideally within industrial, welding or technical environments Mechanical or technical aptitude with the ability to explain solutions clearly Strong communication and relationship‑building skills A proactive, results-driven mindset with strong time management Confidence working within safety and quality management systems Basic PC skills and the ability to complete reporting accurately A commitment to teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement Experience working in a safety-oriented environment is essential, and exposure to industrial or welding products will be highly regarded.
