We are looking for excellent software engineers to join us. You will develop and maintain the live client SDK to support TikTok's live streaming capabilities, focusing on stability improvement, performance improvement, user experience improvement of the live SDK, as well as the advancement of live streaming technology. Successful candidates must be able to commit to the following Internships - From December 2026 - February 2027 (onboard by 7 Dec 2026) Responsibilities - Developing mobile audio and video in live player or pusher SDK, and continuously improving performance. - Participate in feature requirements reviewing, code writing, and performance optimization. - Participate in formulation of coding specifications, improvement of software development productivity; - Participate in construction of automation testing systems, to ensure the quality and stability of SDK. Minimum Qualifications: - Present student with a background in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. - Proficiency in writing and reviewing code in mobile C/C++ or Java. - Experience with audio and video processing systems in either iOS or Android. - Strong problem-solving and debugging/troubleshooting skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to take ownership. Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field involving software/system engineering. - Familiarity with at least one live protocol, such as RTC, RTMP, DASH, or Quic. - Experience in developing and optimizing mobile audio and video in live player or pusher SDK. - Knowledge of coding specifications and best practices for improving software development productivity. - Experience in the construction of automation testing systems to ensure the quality and stability of SDK. - Passion for self-learning and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
