You would be responsible for providing Control Systems engineering expertise and support to the wider operations team as well as managing and implementing individual projects in this area. The role encompasses all aspects of Control Systems Engineering on the Rydalmere Site taking overall responsibility for the development and maintenance of all control system ranging from SCADA, PLC’s & Safety Systems/Devices, Motor Controls, Motion Control Systems (VSD and/or Servo motors), Industrial Robots and Cobots, Instrumentation and Field Devices. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in providing expertise and support in the domain of machine safety systems engineering, contributing to the overall success of the operations team. About You To be successful in this role you will have: A relevant degree/qualification in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation. Industry recognised accreditation in Machine Safety Engineering Experience in Control Systems Engineering Knowledge and skills in the practical application of electrical and control system technologies found in automated manufacturing environments. Ability to establish work plans, monitor progress and complete work tasks on time and on budget. Ability to apply Control Systems engineering principles, techniques, procedures in relation to the maintenance and design of electrical and control systems, including but not limited to: Siemens S7 Protocols Siemens TIA Portal Montions controls system, such as: SEW movitrac SEW movidrive Siemens drive system Expert knowledge in the design and development of PLC & SCADA controls. Ability to apply Machine Safety Systems engineering principles, techniques, procedures in relation to the maintenance and design of electrical and control systems, including but not limited to: Siemens Safety Sick Safety PLC and all other safety devices Pilz Safety, PLC and all other safety devices Expert knowledge in the design and development of Machine Safety controls. Advanced project management skills including the ability to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate engineering designs and process projects.
