Lead and break national stories that shape Australia’s climate conversation. Cover science, technology, policy and community impacts, including business, sport and lifestyle. Build strong contacts and produce original, high-impact journalism. Use multimedia storytelling to inform and engage audiences. Collaborate, mentor and provide editorial leadership across the News division. Reflect Australia’s cultural and geographic diversity in your storytelling. Strong editorial judgment and experience reporting complex stories across digital, TV and radio. Skilled in data journalism and translating complex data into accessible stories. Deep understanding of audience, digital and social trends to maximise reach and engagement. Proven self-starter with a record of breaking impactful national stories meeting tight deadlines Excellent live presentation and communication skills.
