The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for the provision of compassionate and professional nursing care to all patients in accordance with the philosophies of the Mental Health Service. The Enrolled Nurse is the consumer's advocate and delivers high quality nursing care to consumers of the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District consistent with the LHDs policies, procedures and standards. The Enrolled Nurse works under the direct and indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse. The Enrolled Nurse retains responsibility for their personal actions whilst remaining accountable to the Registered Nurse for delegated functions.
