About the Role: Aum Global is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee our accounting functions, financial reporting, and compliance obligations. This key role provides strategic financial support to management while ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to statutory and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement budgeting frameworks and accounting procedures aligned with organisational objectives. Prepare and present financial reports and statements for directors, senior management, and statutory bodies. Conduct financial reviews, audits, and analytical assessments; provide advice on taxation, restructuring, capital funding, and risk matters. Monitor operational expenditures, analyse revenue/spend patterns, and ensure accurate reporting. Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and statutory financial reporting standards. Provide strategic financial and taxation guidance across operations and organisational structures. Prepare taxation returns for individuals and business entities. Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and brokers for funding and financial management arrangements for business and directors. Establish and enhance accounting systems, including computerised financial management software. Develop and maintain internal control mechanisms to safeguard financial assets. Monitor cash flow and evaluate financial exposure for organisational projects. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree (AQF) in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA qualification or progress towards CPA/CA/IPA preferred (not mandatory). Proven experience as an Accountant. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and accounting systems.
