We’re seeking expressions of interest from experienced actuaries to support key initiatives in pricing, claims analytics, capital, product development, and member retention. About the Opportunity Successful candidates will contribute to a range of actuarial and analytics projects including: Developing and maintaining models for product pricing, forecasting, and claims performance Applying statistical and actuarial techniques (e.g. GLMs, experience analysis) to support product and portfolio decisions Extracting and preparing data to support reporting, modelling and performance analysis Supporting reporting obligations including regulatory and statutory requirements Generating insights to improve member value, retention, and health outcomes About You We're looking for candidates with a mix of the following: 5–15 years’ experience in actuarial, analytics, or data science roles Strong analytical and statistical skills – experience with R, SAS, SQL, Python, or equivalent Solid understanding of insurance risk (PHI preferred) Excellent communication skills and the ability to turn complex analysis into actionable insights Tertiary qualifications in Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, or Statistics Associate or Fellowship status with a recognised actuarial body If you have any questions about this position, please reach out to the careers team at careers@gmhba.com.au.
