A rewarding position providing services to Veterans General 291 assessments only Flexible work schedule - minimum 1 day per week needed Paid per report Where you’ll be working You will be working with a specialist occupational medical service for Veterans. The organisation supports Defence personnel in their transition to civilian life by providing expert assistance. Telehealth Psychiatrists will offer support with wellbeing and mental health to veterans. The patients are assessed by a clinical psychologist to support claims they may have, and require 291 assessment by a Consultant Psychiatrist. You will be required to assess for a range of mental health conditions including PTSD, depression and anxiety. The Psychiatrist will provide 291 assessments only with no ongoing management of the patient. Operating hours are Mon-Thurs 0730-1600 and Fri 0730-1400. You can work any time within these hours. A minimum of 1 day per week is required. Where you’ll be living This is an opportunity to offer your services remotely from anywhere in Australia. You will set your own work hours, ranging from a few hours per week up to full-time. This is a fully remote position where you will work alongside a supportive team of doctors and support staff. Salary information Psychiatrists will be paid per report - rates are negotiable depending on experience.
