Their work makes a genuine and lasting difference where it's needed most. Description Manage end‑to‑end accounts payable, including invoice matching, coding, and timely supplier payments. Reconcile supplier statements and bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies. Oversee the corporate credit card process and follow up on outstanding expense claims. Maintain the AP inbox, responding to supplier and internal queries promptly and professionally. Process month‑end tasks, including accruals and assigned balance sheet reconciliations. Ensure invoice pricing aligns with supplier agreements and review contract rates regularly. Support audits through accurate documentation and coordination with external auditors. Assist the finance team across payroll and accounts receivable during peak periods or leave. Contribute to finance process improvements and support rollout of updated AP procedures. Collaborate with internal teams and provide purchase order training when required. Profile The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical capability, reliability, and a collaborative spirit. You will have: 2 years' experience in accounts payable, with confidence handling end‑to‑end AP tasks. Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a supportive team environment. A resourceful, solutions‑focused approach, with the ability to think creatively when resolving issues. Proven experience managing tight deadlines and prioritising workload effectively. Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with a range of stakeholders, including when navigating challenging conversations around compliance or timelines. A positive, team‑oriented attitude and the ability to collaborate across different business areas. Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and adherence to organisational policies.
