Enrolled Nurse / Registered Nurse Medical Imaging Location: Canberra Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time Hours: 2-3 days per week 08:30 - 13:30 OR 08:30 - 15:00 Job Summary An opportunity is available for an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse to join a specialist medical imaging team supporting CT Coronary Angiography (CTCA) preparation and interventional radiology procedures. You will work within a collaborative clinical environment providing patient care, procedural support, and clinical assistance across advanced diagnostic services. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for nurses looking to transition into medical imaging. Key Responsibilities Prepare patients for CT Coronary Angiography (CTCA) procedures Assist clinicians with interventional radiology procedures Provide patient assessment, preparation, and monitoring pre and post procedures Perform IV cannulation where within scope of practice Monitor observations and respond to clinical changes Provide patient education and reassurance throughout procedures Maintain infection control and clinical safety standards Support clinical workflow and patient throughput Maintain accurate clinical documentation Skills & Experience Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse Previous clinical experience in hospital or procedural environments preferred IV cannulation experience desirable but not essential (training provided) No prior medical imaging experience required - full training provided Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills Excellent communication and teamwork ability What's on Offer Permanent part-time role with consistent hours Full training and support provided Exposure to CTCA and interventional procedures Supportive specialist clinical team Excellent working environment
