SharePoint Developer (Migration Specialist) 3 month contract Market rates Adelaide CBD | Flexible WFH arrangements We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer to lead the migration of an on-premises SharePoint environment (2016/2019) to SharePoint Online within a shared central tenancy. You will drive the end-to-end migration while ensuring data integrity, minimal disruption, and alignment with Microsoft 365 best practice. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the migration strategy using tools such as ShareGate. Conduct pre-migration assessments, identify risks, and rationalise information architecture. Design and configure the SharePoint Online environment (hub sites, governance, security). Integrate with Microsoft 365 services including Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform. Modernise legacy customisations using SPFx, Power Platform, JavaScript, and Microsoft Graph where required. Perform testing, validation, and produce technical documentation. Support governance within a shared tenancy model. Required Skills Proven experience migrating SharePoint On-Prem (2016/2019) to SharePoint Online. Strong understanding of differences between on-prem and cloud environments. Proficiency with ShareGate (preferred). Microsoft 365 administration experience.
