You will be joining a collaborative, high‑performing branch that oversees data collection, analysis, reporting and intelligence to support evidence‑based regulatory decision-making. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team delivering high‑quality data analysis, reporting and insights Oversee daily data operations, optimise processes and improve data workflows Drive the successful delivery of analytics projects aligned to business needs Source, acquire, manage and integrate data to support evidence‑based decision making Prepare high‑quality briefs, reports and documentation for internal and external audiences Identify trends and emerging issues to inform regulatory and operational strategies Contribute to enhancing organisational data capability and best‑practice approaches Our Ideal Candidate We’re looking for someone with: Demonstrated experience leading data analytics or reporting functions Strong leadership capability with a focus on building team performance Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to apply critical thinking Experience delivering data‑driven solutions that support business objectives Ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders and influence outcomes Experience identifying inefficiencies and contributing to continuous improvement Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights Understanding of regulatory environments (advantageous) Desirable Qualifications & Skills Tertiary qualifications in Data, Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields 5 years’ relevant experience Knowledge of SQL Server, T‑SQL, Power BI or similar BI/reporting tools Experience with Azure DevOps or CI/CD tools Eligibility Applicants must be Australian Citizens Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance How to Apply If you’re a strategic data leader who thrives on turning complex information into meaningful insights, enhancing data capability, and supporting evidence‑based decision making across a national regulatory environment, we encourage you to apply.
