About The Role As our Regulatory Change Delivery Leader, you’ll sit at the centre of how we anticipate, shape, and deliver regulatory change. This role ensures our Customer business is not only compliant, but confident—ready to respond to reform, influence outcomes early, and embed change in a way that creates lasting value. You’ll own the end‑to‑end regulatory change pipeline, from early consultation through to business-as-usual delivery. On the front end, you’ll partner closely with internal stakeholders and Regulatory Affairs to develop clear, aligned positions and provide high‑quality, consolidated input into regulatory consultations. On the back end, you’ll translate finalised reforms into practical, executable solutions—identifying impacts across processes, systems, and teams, and shaping work for efficient delivery. By providing a single, trusted view of regulatory change, you’ll ensure operational readiness, reduce delivery risk, and embed sustainable controls. Your leadership will help us stay ahead of reform, minimise surprises, and achieve compliance in a way that is efficient, structured, and forward‑looking. Support Enterprise Regulatory Management of Change - Support Regulatory Affairs to identify the appropriate Customer stakeholders for regulatory change proposals. Support early visibility of the regulatory change horizon and assess the potential impacts on Customer BU. Represent Customer in shaping and improving policies, procedures, and processes related to the management of regulatory change across EnergyAustralia Regulatory Solutioning (Pipeline) - Operationalise the Regulatory Management of Change Procedure for Customer BU initiatives by partnering with Project Everest to establish and embed compliant ways of working, with ongoing oversight of RIOD accuracy and completion. Delivery Management - Collaborate with Customer Planning to ensure initiatives are scheduled within the relevant Customer Planning cycles. Operational Readiness and Embedding - Prepare change management plans for regulatory and support obligation owners and stakeholders to prepare teams for implementation. Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting - Maintain a consolidated, end-to-end view of regulatory change initiatives across Customer and create reporting aligned to stakeholder needs. What You'll Need Minimum of 5 years in regulatory change delivery, or regulatory driven delivery programs in energy (or analogous regulated sectors such as financial services, insurance, or utilities). Demonstrated success in delivering regulatory responses from planning through to embedding—on time, within scope, and without audit findings or compliance breaches. Skilled at-risk identification, mitigation, and escalation in a regulatory context, ensuring initiatives remain compliant and audit ready. Proven experience in translating regulatory requirements into actionable business solutions, including assessing impacts across processes, systems, and stakeholders. Experience working closely with project delivery teams (e.g., Project Everest or equivalent) to ensure seamless implementation of regulatory changes.
