We are currently seeking an experienced Centre Cook to join our Leumeah Service. This position is a Full-time role - Monday to Friday between 7:30am - 3:30pm Responsibilities Implement and modify (where required) a seasonal menu created by our nutritionist Maintain regular checks in compliance with the NSW Food Standards Code and Health Regulations Assist staff and families in providing high-quality education and care Collaborate with the staff and families to facilitate learning opportunities relevant to the educational program Maintain professional, supportive and respectful relationships between management, staff, families and children About You Demonstrated Cook/Chef experience in the Aged Care or Early Childhood Education and Care sector An ACECQA-approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care is preferred but not mandatory Alternatively, a relevant Commercial Cooks qualification Food Handlers Basics Certificate Valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check Knowledge of Food Standards Codes, EYLF and NQS Child Safety Matters At Young Academics, we prioritise children’s safety and well-being.
