Base Salary $103,185 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Marketing Communications Officer (Business and Engineering) supports the faculty marketing and communications teams, contributing to faculty priorities including student recruitment, external engagement, alumni relations, and development initiatives. Your key responsibilities will be to: develop effective and supportive relationships with staff at all levels across the University coordinate and create communications using different channels including social media and digital channels develop briefs and work with internal marketing teams to ensure collateral, photography, videos, podcasts and other media are brand aligned and meet objectives manage marketing content on relevant Faculty websites. Write and edit content, ensuring content is relevant and meets web guidelines and faculty objectives keep abreast of issues in the tertiary education environment, emerging marketing communications trends and industry best practice. About you experience editing copy written by others to ensure a publication, print or online, is of a standard that meets editorial requirements and strategic objectives demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders within a complex organisation extensive experience in marketing and communications using relevant channels to achieve desired objectives well-developed project management skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines significant experience in developing and executing integrated brand and product marketing communications campaigns across a broad range of media channels and mediums.
