Would suit : Experienced Industrial Electrician with PLC / Automation skills that is also mechanically capable. Qualified Dual Trade Fitter / Electrician - preferred industrial & automation knowledge. Background in FMCG, high speed packaging equipment. Skills & Experience : Unrestricted Electrical Licence (Victorian A-Grade licence) Electrical fault finding, including replacement of contactors, relays, field devices, etc Programming drives, scanners, electronic control modules Troubleshooting PLCs Trouble-shoot, problem solve, diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults Carry out equipment audits and preventative maintenance tasks Lubrication, belt tracking, replacing bearings, chains, belts, motors & gearboxes Seek to reduce downtime, waste, and improve system reliability Identify operational and equipment improvement opportunities through ongoing investigation and root cause analysis of faults Support implementation of improvement projects Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting & problem-solving equipment faults within a maintenance environment A commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction Be mechanically savvy (experience with maintaining mechanical and pneumatic systems) Industrial controls understanding (PLC's, VFD's, HMI's, etc.) Self-motivated with an ability to work independently and in a team The following will also be highly regarded : Sound experience in Microsoft Office and report writing skills Computerised maintenance systems experience (MEX) Why Join Us?
