About the role: The role of the Project Delivery Coordinator is to work with asset owners and stakeholders to deliver the annual and multi-year capital programs in accordance with council’s strategic asset management plans. Responsibilities include but not limited too: • Coordinating the planning, design and scoping of capital projects to be delivered by council resources. • Coordinating the procurement of planning, design, construction and implementation of significant, outsourced capital projects. • Coordinating design programs generated by the strategic asset management plans ensuring outcomes are fit for purpose. • Reporting against developed plans, programs and milestones. • Coordinating stakeholder engagement in these projects (and community participation where appropriate) and be accountable for delivery of projects safely and within agreed project specifications. • Ensuring effective and efficient delivery of projects, including project handover, closure, and asset capitalisation. To be successful you will have the following: Mandatory: • A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Bachelor of Engineering - Civil) or significant demonstrated experience in contract management and/or project management. • Minimum of Queensland C class provisional drivers licence. Desirable: • Post graduate qualification in Project Management. • Registered as a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland.
