About the Role Langham Hospitality Group Pacific is now recruiting for the role of Global Sales Office Pacific (GSO), Sales Manager – MICE. Reporting to the Director of Sales - Global Sales Pacific, this position requires a candidate who is highly driven and focused to achieve GSO sales targets in the MICE segment for allocated account base, segment and geographical areas. Key to support the hotels in achieving their budgeted revenues and market share goals. Key Responsibilities Achieve allocated MICE segment targets Effectively measure and report on a timely basis, the sales results with updated strategies including competitor information to the Director of Sales (DOS) Work closely with DOS Pacific and team to achieve overall set deliverables Proactive working style, ability to collaborate with clients and Hotels, lead generation, and convert MICE inquiries to maximize the revenue opportunity for the Hotels. Manage allocated Accounts, segments, and Geographical areas Pursue and secure new account opportunities for GSO Pacific office Skills & Experience A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in a luxury hotel or global sales environment or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience A team player who focuses on organizational success and always has an entrepreneurial approach to business development A good communicator working with best practices and innovative ideas Excellent presentation and negotiation skills to win business and sustain continuous growth Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, able to communicate effectively Able to work independently as well as in a team environment Awareness and sensitivity to the concept of luxury and quality Able to link the value of colleagues, external guests and business results Ability to align business objectives with organizational development strategies Sound knowledge Excel, Salesforce, PowerPoint Physical demands - This position is both sedentary and based 'on the road'. International and domestic travel will be required on occasion.
