Our Community Care Division is seeking a passionate and person-centred individual to join our dynamic after-hours support team. There are ongoing shifts available together with additional hours to cover a parental leave contract. We are looking for an experienced, professional, dedicated, and caring individual to provide proactive, and effective responses to our clients and staff in the community care sector. As the After-Hours Coordinator you will be required to coordinate with clients and support workers to ensure service deliver for any late cancellations, illnesses, or last-minute shift requirements. Additionally, you will be the first point of contact (After Hours) for any client or support worker queries dealing with these in a professional, person-centred style and escalating to management where required. As a member of our After-Hours team, you would be working from home On-Call on a rotating roster, incorporating weekdays, weekend days and Public Holidays. This role is suitable for a solution-focused multitasker and team player with high energy, resilience, positivity, and a deep desire to improve the quality of life for people living with disability. Your role will include: Providing after-hours support via a rotating roster Ongoing fortnightly shifts available - Weekday 1700-2200 x 2 passive overnights X1 weekday 0600-0800 X1 Saturday 1400-2200 X1 Sunday 0600-1400 Work autonomously and collaboratively with other team members, staff and clients to schedule services that meet client needs and preferences. The ability to build relationships with clients and staff, display strong listening skills and an empathetic approach. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Assist in maintaining rosters for staff in accordance with individual contracts and Enterprise Agreement requirements. Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and accurate data entry skills Available to work weekends and weeknights.
