A position is now available for a skilled Service Technician, who will be responsible for undertaking diagnosis, inspection, repair and testing of clinical and aged care equipment including; beds, hoists, wheelchairs, commodes and pan sanitisers. To be successful, you will need to have a minimum of 2 years' technical experience with electrical devices, excellent time management and problem-solving ability, along with current Test & Tag certification. What’s great about this role: Close Knit Team offering an excellent work culture Opportunities to upskill & to grow your career Join a company who are passionate about everything they do Duties: Service, repair and maintain healthcare equipment efficiently and cost‑effectively Enter all job details accurately in the internal job costing system Inspect and test equipment to ensure compliance with AS/NZS standards Liaise with customers in relation to service and repairs where required Deliver and install equipment, as required Support inwards/outwards goods and general warehouse duties Manage inventory of parts, tools and consumables; maintain stock levels for critical repairs. Produce accurate preventative and compliance reports Complete equipment condition surveys and Annual Compliance/Equipment condition surveys. Work safely and comply with Health & Safety and Quality Management System (QMS) policies and training requirements. Skills and Experience: Test & Tag certification. Experience servicing medical/healthcare equipment highly desirable but not essential 2 years of practical experience with electrical devices, tools, general repairs and maintenance Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability Excellent time management, organisational and customer service skills High accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to multitask. Independent problem‑solving, adaptability and a team‑first mindset. Valid NZ driver licence MUST have full NZ working rights. This position is not suitable to candidates requiring Sponsorship.
