Role Overview As a Youth Worker, you will: Provide mental health and behavioural support to young people in various settings Deliver one-on-one and group-based support to help youth overcome challenges Assist with behavioural management, emotional support, and crisis intervention Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive environment Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to support overall wellbeing Facilitate recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities as required What We're Looking For Diploma in Community Services, Mental Health, or Youth Work Strong communication and de-escalation skills Experience supporting young people in complex or high-needs environments Ability to work collaboratively with teams and families Mandatory Requirements Working With Children Check (WWCC) NDIS Worker Screening Check National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months) First Aid & CPR certification COVID-19 vaccination status Min 2x Driver's licence (preferred but not essential) Trauma Informed Care qualification Hope and Healing module completion Holds a current LCS2 and/or LCS7 qualification If you're passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people and are seeking flexible agency work in Gracemere, we'd love to hear from you.
