The company delivers complete outdoor solutions including surrounding architecture, decking, pergolas and related carpentry works across Greater Sydney. Due to ongoing growth, Aroona Pools requires a qualified Carpenter, full-time, to undertake structural and finishing carpentry associated with pool installations and outdoor construction projects. Proposed annual salary: between $75,000 and $80,000 Main Duties and Responsibilities Interpreting construction drawings and specifications for decking and outdoor structures Measuring, cutting and assembling timber and composite materials for pool decking and related works Constructing decks, stairs, handrails, screening and pergolas Installing framing, joists, bearers and support structures Building formwork and other temporary timber structures as required Ensuring all works comply with Australian building standards and council requirements Selecting suitable materials for outdoor and moisture-exposed environments Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently Coordinating with pool construction teams to integrate carpentry works Inspecting completed works to ensure quality and safety compliance Qualifications and Experience Minimum Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent) At least 2 years experience in residential carpentry, ideally in decking or outdoor structures Knowledge of Australian building codes and standards Ability to read and interpret plans, and competent in carpentry tools and equipment Strong workmanship standards and ability to work independently and in a team
