As a Senior Solaris Engineer and Mulesoft Specialist, you will provide operational maintenance, technical leadership, and subject matter expertise for the ACT Government’s UNiplexed Information and Computing Service (UNIX) platforms and Mulesoft environment. You will support day‑to‑day system administration across Solaris, Linux and related mid‑range technologies, working closely with senior and junior administrators to develop and maintain effective systems, processes, and solutions. Your work will include troubleshooting Solaris and Mulesoft applications, administering Mulesoft Cloudhub, managing certificates, and supporting integration platforms such as Salesforce Cloudhub. You will also contribute to the design and development of Solaris and Linux-based solutions using tools such as Ansible and Oracle Linux Automation Manager (OLAM), apply system patches and upgrades, compile third‑party software for Solaris SPARC and x86, and support reporting, monitoring, and documentation across UNIX, Linux and database environments. While this position does not involve direct supervision of staff, it may require participation in an after‑hours on‑call roster.
