We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Partner - Finance to join our Corporate Finance team. This position will be offered on a 15 month FTC and be based at Perth Head Office. Reporting to the Manager Financial Reporting, this role is pivotal in supporting both operational and corporate performance through meaningful financial insights, disciplined accounting processes, and high‑quality analysis. About the Role As the Business Partner - Finance, you will provide customer‑focused financial support across the business. This role is responsible for the accurate management of asset information, corporate accounting processes, and key financial reporting cycles. You will also play a vital role in budgeting, forecasting, treasury, insurance and audit activities. This role suits someone who enjoys working collaboratively with stakeholders, improving financial processes, and delivering reliable financial outcomes. Key Responsibilities Asset & Corporate Accounting Maintain and facilitate group asset records from project creation through to disposals, including account reconciliations and monthly reporting. Review fixed asset registers and plant maintenance structures to ensure alignment of coding, terminology and structure. Maintain finance lease schedules and the right‑of‑use asset register. Complete corporate bank reconciliations Prepare monthly Corporate Budget vs Actual analysis. Prepare monthly corporate journal entries and maintain accuracy across corporate accounting processes. Support annual and mid‑year external audit requirements. Assist with annual and mid‑year corporate budgeting and forecasting cycles. Treasury, Insurance & Reporting Maintain and develop records supporting weekly treasury cash flow commitments. Provide accurate records and information for annual insurance renewal processes. About You Skills & Competencies Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. High standard of written and verbal communication. Strong organisational and time management skills; able to work autonomously. Experience using Pronto or similar ERP systems; exposure to BI reporting tools desirable. Strong team player with the ability to influence improvements in standards and processes. Qualifications & Experience Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance. CA/CPA qualification (or actively studying). Minimum three years' experience in the mining industry (gold experience highly regarded). Desirable: site or operational accounting experience; prior corporate accounting exposure.
