What we are looking for: As a Front of House Coordinator at the Brolga Theatre, you’ll be responsible for delivering high quality service to patrons and users and maintaining our strong reputation. You’ll have fantastic customer service skills and experience working in a customer facing position. Working closely with our team of dedicated volunteers, your strong communication and relationship building skills will set you up for success. You’ll liaise not only with the public but also promoters, contractors, caterers, and hirers. You’ll be comfortable working autonomously and will possess excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet. What your day will look like: Oversee event operations, including staff supervision, briefings and coordination with key stakeholders. Deliver high-quality customer service across Front of House, Bar and Box Office. Manage venue opening/closing, security, cash handling and compliance requirements. Ensure patron and staff safety, acting as Chief Fire Warden and First Aid Officer. Maintain venue presentation, support volunteers and complete post-event reporting. What you’ll need for success: RSA Current Drivers Licence Operational knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite especially, Outlook, Word and Excel Competent in use of a computer and the Microsoft Office suite (especially Outlook, Word and Excel). Competent in use of specialist Point of Sale system for bar and ticketing including EFTPOS. Knowledge of basic AV setup including specialist in house data projection, microphones, and internet access. Knowledge of specialist in house technical lighting and sound system.
