Buildsafe is seeking a Stock Controller to join our Technical Supply team based at our QLD HQ in Arundel. About Buildsafe Buildsafe is a market leader in residential height safety, partnering with builders across QLD, NSW and VIC to deliver innovative, compliant height safety solutions including platforms, scaffold and guardrail systems. The role The Stock Controller manages Buildsafe’s national stock portfolio, ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time to meet operational demand. You will analyse stock utilisation, coordinate transfers and purchasing, lead stocktakes and support freight, logistics and purchasing administration. Key responsibilities Manage stock across all branches, including maintenance, audits and monthly checks. Analyse national stock usage and recommend transfers or procurement to optimise inventory. Coordinate annual and EOFY stocktakes and ensure accurate reporting. Liaise with freight forwarders and transport providers to organise stock movements and containers. Create purchase orders, receipt stock in systems, validate shipping invoices and apply landed costs. About you Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar inventory/stock control/supply chain role. Strong analytical skills, commercial awareness and high attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders. Able to juggle competing priorities, work to deadlines and make sound decisions under pressure.
