Salary starting from $115,723.09 About the role The City is seeking a Supervisor for our Civil Maintenance team. In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the team. The role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operation, safety and efficiency in our maintenance team. Duties Key responsibilities include: Manage the day-to-day operations of the depot Civil Maintenance teams. Provide the teams with daily and weekly schedules to maximize productivity. Review all customer services requests daily. Discuss the outcomes with customers if required and program any works as a result of these requests. Provide clear guidance and leadership to all teams. Liaise daily with your Team Leader to ensure their requests are being addressed. Liaise with other sections and departments to ensure a culture of teamwork and cooperation. Manage work practices to ensure the safety of employees and compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Legislation. Prepare preventative maintenance schedules for your team's plant and equipment. Prepare and review yearly programs and budgets to meet your team's needs. Attend to call-outs where required. Maintain the Depot infrastructure (buildings and yard) to a safe and efficient standard in conjunction with all other areas working in that space. Provide input into the yearly maintenance and renewal programs. Attend to call-outs after work hours, work overtime and organise the availability of employees for work after hours as required or instructed; Who we are Looking for: To be considered for this position, you will need: Proven experience in civil maintenance or a related field. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work collaboratively across departments. Current 'C' Class Licence Strong organizational and scheduling abilities.
