We require a Landscape Gardener to join our team working from the Sunshine Coast. The Landscape Gardener will plan and construct garden landscapes. Key duties include : Garden Maintenance: Mowing, pruning, hedging, weeding, and fertilising to ensure plant health; Irrigation & Care: Installing and maintaining irrigation systems and applying treatments for pest and disease control; Landscape Construction: Setting out and building features including paving, retaining walls, fences, and water features. Constructing gravel areas, walls, trellises, pergolas, ponds, barbecues, irrigation systems and garden furniture; Preparing: Plans and drawings, selecting materials, plants, seedbeds and growing sites, and scheduling landscape construction; Safety & Compliance: Operating machinery safely (chainsaws, mowers) and adhering to WHS/OHS guidelines; Setting Out: Installing hardscape and softscape structures; Site Preparation: Clearing sites, grading, and improving soil quality, including spreading topsoil and planting grass; Soft scaping & Planting: Preparing soil, installing trees, shrubs, flowers, bushes, bulbs and laying instant turf. To be considered you will need a level of skill commensurate with a relevant AQF Certificate III, including at least two years of on-the-job training, OR AQF Certificate IV and at least 1 year of relevant employment experience OR at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above. This is a full time role, an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $78,000 - $85,000 per annum will be offered to the successful candidate.
