MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT Location: Vales Point, NSW, hybrid location post-probation Employment Type: Full-time, 18-month fixed term contract Delta is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join the team at Vales Point Power Station on an 18-month fixed-term contract. In this hands-on role, you'll deliver high-quality financial services, lead the Accounts Payable team, and provide meaningful insights that support operational performance. As a key member of the Finance team, you will partner closely with operational staff, auditors, and Corporate Finance to ensure the integrity of financial information and compliance with relevant standards and policies. About the Role You will be responsible for preparing accurate monthly accounts, driving budgeting and forecasting processes, managing financial aspects of contracts, and maintaining asset registers. You'll also oversee key finance functions, including Accounts Payable, Ellipse Contracts and Salesforce billing. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work closely with operational teams at site. What you'll be doing - Prepare monthly accounting entries, reconciliations and financial reports - Lead the Accounts Payable team and ensure compliance with policies and procedures - Manage financial aspects of contract administration (expenditure limits, securities, insurance) - Maintain fixed asset registers and support tax and accounting compliance - Prepare budgets, reforecasts and variance analysis - Oversee Accounts Payable, Ellipse Contracts and Salesforce billing processes - Contribute to Finance policies, procedures and work instructions About You You'll bring strong accounting knowledge, commercial acumen, and a passion for developing people.
