Software Engineer Location: North Sydney, NSW Employment Type: Full-time (Onsite) About the Role Socoro Pty Ltd are seeking a capable Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development and maintenance of software applications in a collaborative engineering environment. The role involves taking ownership of assigned development tasks, contributing to production-ready solutions and working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test and maintain software components across the application stack Independently deliver assigned development tasks with minimal supervision Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews and solution design Identify, troubleshoot and resolve software issues Collaborate with product, design and engineering stakeholders Maintain documentation and development standards Skills & Experience Demonstrated commercial experience delivering production-ready software Strong programming skills in: Frontend: React, NextJS, Shadcn, Tailwind Backend & Infrastructure (light exposure): AWS, Terraform, JavaScript Integrations: Accounting Software, POS, Weighbridge Systems, Camera and Drone Feeds Experience working across the software development lifecycle Ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a team Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience) Salary $90,000 – $105,000 plus superannuation , commensurate with skills and experience.
