The firm is currently seeking a Superannuation Accountant to join its specialist retirement funds team in a full-time capacity. This role will involve preparing annual financial statements and statutory returns for self-managed superannuation funds, supporting fund establishments and closures, coordinating with auditors, financial advisers and internal stakeholders to ensure legislative compliance, responding to client enquiries with a high level of professionalism and remaining informed on regulatory changes affecting superannuation. The ideal candidate will have one to four years’ experience in public practice, preferably with exposure to superannuation, hold a tertiary qualification in accounting or a related field (with further studies completed or in progress), demonstrate a solid understanding of superannuation compliance and taxation and possess strong communication and client service skills; experience with specialised superannuation software is advantageous and candidates transitioning from bookkeeping into superannuation are welcome to apply.
