We are seeking an experienced and motivated CSSD Coordinator to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our Central Sterile Services Department. This role reports to the Nurse Unit Manager and is responsible for ensuring all instrumentation, equipment, and sterile supplies meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and clinical excellence. As the CSSD Coordinator, you will supervise a skilled team of technicians, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and partner closely with perioperative and clinical leaders to support exceptional surgical outcomes. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the CSSD team to deliver consistent, high‑quality sterilisation services Ensure compliance with AS/NZS 4187 and all relevant standards, policies, and accreditation requirements Oversee rostering, workflow management and resource allocation to support theatre demands Support equipment maintenance, validation, tracking systems and quality audits Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships Drive process improvements, training programs, and staff development Collaborate with perioperative services to optimise service delivery and efficiency About You You’ll thrive in a busy clinical environment and bring strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills. You are confident making decisions, guiding others, and ensuring safety and quality remain a top priority.
