The key duties of the position include Duties and responsibilities Develop remote patrol plans in accordance with departmental intelligence and risk-based planning. Assess patrol plans for potential risks or issues and develop mitigation strategies. Prepare and present briefing sessions to patrol members and other participants for remote patrols. Engage with members of the community to collect information in support of border protection and enforcement activities. Contribute to the operational safety of the team and yourself. Operate a range of ABF assets, including 4WD vehicles, inshore vessels and navigational equipment to complete patrol activities.
