The Opportunity The Engineering Systems Manager is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of VicGrid's Engineering Management Framework (EMF), including the Systems Engineering Management Framework (SEMF), Design & Engineering Management Framework (DEMF), Digital Engineering Framework and Delivery Design Engineering Management Framework (DDEMF). This role ensures that systems engineering principles are applied consistently across all phases of project delivery, from requirements definition through to verification and handover. What you will deliver Lead the development and ongoing maintenance of VicGrid's Engineering Management Framework (EMF) for high-voltage transmission infrastructure. Coordinate and support configuration management and change control processes, ensuring controlled management of Project Scope and Delivery Requirements (PSDR) across projects. Maintain and administer the Requirements Management System, including requirements traceability, verification and validation evidence. Develop and deliver training and induction materials to support engineering and relevant staff in the application of VicGrid's EMF. What you will bring Advanced expertise in systems engineering within infrastructure or energy projects. Demonstrated experience with requirements management tools and lifecycle verification processes. Strong capability to assess and provide advice on engineering assurance processes, configuration management and interface control. Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary work packages across internal teams, consultants, and contractors.
