The opportunity The Health Assessor provides high‑quality service to customers attending the Medical Centre for immigration medical assessments. This role will see you collecting and documenting clinical measurements and ensuring patients experience an efficient, respectful, and smooth assessment process. Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for patients in person and over the phone; greet patients politely and assist them with any queries. Use the practice system to book and manage appointments. Maintain strict confidentiality and privacy when handling patient information. Ensure customers move efficiently through the medical assessment process by communicating effectively with Health Assessors, GPs, Imaging, and Pathology staff to avoid bottlenecks. Provide administrative support to HCPs delivering immigration medical assessments. Ensure relevant documentation and patient information are prepared and available. Handle incoming calls, faxing, photocopying, and mail distribution. Keep reception and waiting areas clean, organised, and presentable at all times. Maintain clinical areas in a clean, tidy, and professional state. Perform urinalysis testing as part of the medical examination process. About you Strong customer service focus.
