BRAVO BRICK & BLOCKLAYING PTY LTD is a growing construction company delivering high-quality brick and block work across residential and commercial projects throughout Melbourne and Geelong. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Bricklayer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tradesperson who takes pride in precision workmanship and is looking for stable, long-term employment with a professional and supportive team. Key Responsibilities Studying plans, drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures Laying bricks, concrete blocks and pavers in rows, patterns and designs according to project requirements Spreading and applying mortar between joints and removing excess mortar Constructing and repairing walls, partitions, arches, fireplaces and other brick or block structures Sealing foundations with damp-resistant materials and preparing mortar beds Checking vertical and horizontal alignment using levels and measuring tools Cutting, shaping and trimming bricks and blocks using hand tools and power equipment Performing repair and maintenance work on existing brick and block structures Assisting with the preparation of sublayers and installation of paved and interlocking brick surfaces Erecting and dismantling restricted-height scaffolding as required Maintaining a clean and safe worksite in line with workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements Skills & Experience Required Or at least 2 years of relevant full-time work experience as a Bricklayer Certificate III in Bricklaying/Blocklaying or equivalent qualification Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team White Card (Construction Induction Card) required Driver’s licence and reliable transport preferred What We Offer Annual salary of $75,000 - $85,000 plus superannuation Full-time, ongoing employment Consistent pipeline of work across Melbourne and Geelong sites Supportive team environment with organised project coordination Safe, well-managed worksites Opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial builds If you are a dedicated Bricklayer looking for secure employment with a company that values reliability and high-quality work, we encourage you to apply.
