Program Change & Training Lead – Utilities Sector – Initial 12-month contract (extensions highly likely) Our client is a well-respected entity embarking on a significant multi-year transformation and are seeking an experienced Program Change & Training Lead to play a pivotal role in driving adoption, capability uplift and sustained organisational alignment across the Core Capability Program. This role will be responsible for designing and governing a structured, enterprise-wide change approach, ensuring leaders and teams are equipped to transition successfully through evolving operating models while minimising risk and disruption. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Lead end-to-end change management scoping, planning and delivery across a complex, multi-year transformation program. Design and implement comprehensive change strategies incorporating engagement, communications, readiness and transition activities. Identify and analyse stakeholder impacts and develop targeted mitigation and engagement plans. Partner with business analysts and solution teams to assess organisational impacts and ensure alignment with future-state processes. Define readiness criteria and oversee adoption planning to support controlled transition into BAU. Lead the development and execution of training strategies, including blended learning approaches and evaluation frameworks. Establish change metrics to monitor adoption and reinforce desired behaviours. Manage and mentor a team of change managers, analysts and training resources. Collaborate with People & Culture, Communications and senior leadership to ensure an integrated, leader-led approach to change. The role will be offered as an initial 12-month Day Rate contract with a very flexible hybrid WFH agreement. There will also be a requirement to travel interstate with the rest of the team for 1 week every month, though all costs and allowances are covered. The skills/experience needed will include but not be limited to: Demonstrated experience leading change functions within large, complex transformation programs. Proven ability to manage cumulative change impacts across technology, process and operating model shifts. Strong experience designing structured change, engagement and training strategies. Track record working with executives and senior leaders to embed sustainable change. Excellent facilitation, communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience managing teams and external providers within a program environment. Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and evolving contexts. Advantageous: Utilities sector experience and exposure to enterprise system transformation. Want to apply?
