Your work will directly support team members across the country and that matters. ABOUT THE ROLE You’ll join the Payroll team as part of the The People and Culture Extended Universe. Our team of superheroes span right across from Payroll, HR, Safety & Risk, Learning & Development, Events and Legal. Working with a supportive Payroll team, you’ll contribute to the weekly payroll cycle and help deliver a smooth, people-first experience for our teams. Be involved with the full function end-to-end weekly payroll process. Apply and interpret the General Retail Industry Award and relevant Enterprise Agreements to provide clear guidance. Partner with leaders and team members nationally to resolve pay queries with a solutions-first approach. Maintain strong governance across payroll data, variations and approvals (because the little things are the big things). Contribute to continuous improvement, streamlining processes, tightening controls and lifting the team member experience. ABOUT YOU You’re organised, detail-focused and enjoy supporting people by getting the admin right, because accuracy matters. You bring a service mindset, learn quickly and take pride in being someone the team can count on. You’ll bring: Great attention to detail, confidentiality and a commitment to getting it right the first time. A genuine interest in numbers and payroll with the willingness to learn. Strong admin skills, confident with systems, data entry and keeping records tidy and up to date. The ability to manage weekly deadlines and stay calm under pressure. A team-first approach, with the confidence to work independently when needed. Clear communication skills and the ability to ask good questions and follow through.
