The Role: Work closely with Principals and Managers across a diverse client portfolio Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for various entity types Manage tax compliance obligations for business clients Assist with tax planning and business advisory assignments Communicate directly with clients and build strong professional relationships Assist clients with KPI reporting, business performance and growth strategies Identify opportunities to add value and improve client outcomes Support and collaborate with junior team members where required About You: 2–3 years’ Australian public practice accounting experience Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce or similar CA or CPA commenced or intending to commence Strong understanding of Australian taxation principles Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns Exposure to cloud-based accounting systems including Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks Strong communication and relationship-building skills Proactive attitude with strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Genuine interest in long-term career development within public practice What’s On Offer: Competitive salary package circa $80K negotiable based on experience Strong work-life balance with limited overtime expectations Convenient North Gold Coast location with plenty of parking Monthly internal training and ongoing professional development Supportive mentoring from experienced Partners and Managers Regular team lunches, social events and staff celebrations Collaborative and friendly office culture Role autonomy with exposure to varied and interesting client work Long-term career progression opportunities within a growing firm This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious Intermediate Accountant seeking strong mentorship, quality client exposure and genuine career progression within a modern and supportive accounting firm environment.
