We are recruiting on behalf of a social enterprise facilities and property services provider delivering high-quality grounds and outdoor maintenance across metropolitan Melbourne. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a hands-on Grounds Maintenance Supervisor / Team Leader to oversee daily operations, support field crews and ensure consistent service standards across a diverse portfolio of sites. The Role This is a hands-on leadership position in which you will work alongside your team in the field, coordinating daily activities, maintaining service standards across multiple sites, and building strong relationships with clientele. You will: Lead and mentor grounds maintenance crews Set daily task schedules and priorities Provide on-the-job coaching, support and feedback Ensure safety, quality and presentation standards are met Coordinate equipment, materials and site readiness Build positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders Identify training and development opportunities within the team Perform general grounds maintenance, including mowing, edging, pruning, horticulture, pressure cleaning and reactive outdoor works You will play an important role in building structure, consistency and pride within the team. About You Background in grounds maintenance, landscaping or outdoor property services Experience leading or guiding field-based teams Able to provide clear direction and constructive feedback Patient, practical and people-focused Organised, reliable and solutions-driven Pride in delivering consistent, high-quality work Current driver’s licence required WWCC, Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening required Formal qualifications are not essential. Practical experience and leadership capability are valued.
